We train functional movement for speed and strength. Being strong is nice but being strong in the wrong
movement patterns is useless and potentially dangerous for an athlete. Balance, speed and mobility paired
with strength in the correct movement patterns for sport is what we develop. This is consistent with the latest
science for elite athletic performance. This is the kind of training we utilize in order to produce results that
help our athletes move better and help reduce the risk of injury. Just as importantly, we provide
psychological, emotional and physical training to our athletes regardless of age to help them be their best.
- Our coaches are RALVIS Elite Performance Specialists (REPS), all of whom either have a degree in Exercise Science or are completing their exercise science degree at a University accepted by RALVIS
- Our REPS/coaches have been mentored by NCAA Division 1 Speed and Strength program coaches
- All of our REPS/coaches participate in monthly continuing education for speed, strength and functional movement patterns
- We have been a part of helping multiple athletes advance to the next level of their sport (some of those pictures are on the wall in our entry)
- Our founder is a former NCAA DI All-American, College Coach and Hall of Fame inductee at both his High School and University, who expects and empowers the REPS/Coaches to help every athlete to be encouraged and get the most they can out of themselves
- Jr and High School athletes (the majority of our athletes are in this age range…7th grade thru 12th grade) and are working to maximize their individual potential and to reduce the risk of injury in their chosen sport(s)
- Youth Athletes (for athletes 10 years and older, who demonstrate that they can pay attention and handle the training safely without being a risk to themselves or others - most of these athletes start on our Spiderman Training Block to learn how to effectively use their body with limited weightlifting)
- College athletes (most of these are here during their summer or winter break and typically have trained with us formerly in order to get good enough to play in college)
- Elite Post collegiate athletes (we train some but very few post collegiate athletes who are working to get to the next level of their sport…currently we are training one athlete for the NFL and another for the XFL)
- Parents (we do actually have some adult adjusted training, but is by special request)
Schedule a complete RALVIS Performance Screen (RPS session) with one of our REPS/coaches for a FREE assessment and schedule discussion of program length and costs
- Simplest way is to email [email protected] and request a FREE RPS appointment
Athlete training sessions are typically 70 to 80 minutes long, but not less than 60 or more than 90.
- Athletes must arrive on time or early in order to get their full time slot
Training sessions vary from 2 sessions per week to 5 sessions per week
A season is 3 months long
- Athletes must commit to a minimum of 1 season, but many of our athletes continue to train all year long
Regardless of their sport we develop functional movement that makes athletes better…NO Matter What level they are at currently…Beginner or Professional! We do not spend a lot of time teaching athletes how to play their sport. They already have a coach for that. We make athletes faster, stronger and more functional and because of that they are better in their sport as a side effect of being a better athlete. All that said we have trained athletes whom have achieved significant results in the following sports:
- Football
- Basketball
- Track and Field
- Baseball
- Softball
- Golf
- Volleyball
- Olympic Weightlifting
- Bodybuilding
- Military
- Soccer
- Respect…Attitude…Leadership…Vision…Intensity…Self-Esteem
Along with helping athletes improve performance, by moving faster and stronger in the correct planes of motion our REPS/coaches also work to embed our key principles. We want to teach young athletes:
- to respect themselves and others (R)
- how to have a great attitude and to manage their attitude (A)
- how to develop leadership skills and become leaders (L)
- to have a bigger vision for what is possible (V)
- to train and live with intensity (I)
- to develop self-esteem…we know they matter and we want them to know it too (S)
